Milam Recalled; Geisler Returned On Loan To Reading

MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have recalled defenseman Troy Milam and returned on loan defenseman Beau Geisler to the ECHL's Reading Royals, Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced on Friday.

Milam, 24, has 11 points (2-9=11) and 30 penalty minutes in 37 games with the Monarchs this season. The 6-foot, 188-pound native of Lake Orion, Michigan, also has 10 points (0-10=10) in 19 games with the Royals this season. Milam, who also appeared in seven games with the Monarchs (1-0=1) during the 2003-04 season, inked a one-year contract with the Monarchs on September 8, 2004.

Geisler, 24, has two points (1-1=2) and zero penalty minutes in 11 games with the Monarchs this season. The 5-foot-11, 187-pound native of Coleraine, Minnesota, also has 18 points (4-14=18) and 24 penalty minutes in 48 games with the Royals this season. Geisler agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Monarchs on September 22, 2004.

The Monarchs are scheduled to meet the Portland Pirates at 8:05 p.m. at the Cumberland County Civic Center on Friday night. After that, they'll meet the Springfield Falcons at the Springfield Civic Center on Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. The Monarchs next home game is scheduled for Friday, April 15 against the Lowell Lock Monsters at 7:35 p.m.

Ticket Availability: Single seats in the Gold level and 400 seats in the Silver level remain for the April 15 game against the Lock Monsters.
