January 10, 2004 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Milwaukee Admirals News Release

Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has activated forwards Andreas Johansson and Scottie Upshall from injured reserve and reassigned both to the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Johansson, a veteran of over 300 NHL contests, notched two goals and two assists (2g-2a-4pts) in seven games with Nashville this season before suffering a concussion on October 25 vs. Colorado. The Hofors, Sweden native, who led the Predators with 20 goals last season, missed 34 games recovering from the injury. He is expected to play for the Admirals on a conditioning assignment on Saturday (vs. Utah) and to rejoin the Predators on Sunday.

Upshall, 20 (10/7/83), suffered a sprained knee on December 22 vs. Phoenix and has missed the last nine games. The Predators' top pick (sixth overall) in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft has notched one assist in seven games with Nashville this season and 16 points (8g-8a) in 19 games with Milwaukee.

The Admirals take on the Utah Grizzlies at 1:30 pm today, January 10th, at the Bradley Center.
