Moosic, Pa. - The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple-A/New York Yankees) have teamed up with Uber to create the Safe Rides program. The initiative will make sure fans have access to safe, reliable and affordable rides to and from games at PNC Field.

"This partnership reflects the RailRiders' dedication to ensuring our fans have access to dependable, safe transportation when they need it," said RailRiders interim GM Jeremy Ruby.

Together, the RailRiders and Uber are providing all fans who are new Uber users with a free first ride up to $20. To receive the credit, fans will have to download the Uber app on any smartphone/mobile device and use the promo code: RAILRIDERS.
