Tyler Shelast Reassigned To Hamilton

DALLAS, TX - Dallas Stars General Manager's Brett Hull and Les Jackson announced today that forward Tyler Shelast has been reassigned to the Hamilton Bulldogs from the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL.

Shelast, 24, played in six games with the Bulldogs earlier this season posting two penalty minutes. The native of Kelowna, British Columbia has competed in 23 games for the Steelheads this year registering 14 points (seven goals, seven assists) along with 21 penalty minutes. Following the completion of his collegiate career last season, the 6-foot-1, 202-pound winger competed in 11 games with the now defunct Iowa Stars of the AHL recording two points (one goal, one assist). During four seasons with the Michigan Tech Huskies, Shelast accumulated 87 points (51 goals, 36 assists) in 151 games from 2004-2008.

The Hamilton Bulldogs host the Binghamton Senators tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Copps Coliseum. Tonight's game will be broadcast LIVE on Cable 14.
