
Griffins Add Two to Staff

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Friday announced the hiring of Bridget Higgs as a ticket sales account executive and Amy Orlowski as community relations coordinator. A Kentwood native, Higgs comes to the Griffins from the team's parent club, the Detroit Red Wings, where she had served as a senior account executive since the start of the 2007-08 season. Prior to joining the Red Wings, she worked in the Detroit Tigers' ticket office upon graduating from Grand Valley State University in the spring of 2007 with a degree in non-profit public administration and a business minor.
Orlowski has been a member of the Griffins' staff since the beginning of the 2008-09 season, as a ticket sales intern. Hailing from Byron Center, she is currently a senior at Michigan State University and is set to graduate this spring with a degree in advertising.
