Falcons Fall To Devils 4-2

February 6, 2009 - The Springfield Falcons lost to the Lowell Devils 4-2 on Friday night in front of 3,169 at the MassMutual Center. Lowell's Nicklas Bergfors scored on the power play at 16:41 of the first period giving the Devils a one-goal lead through 20 minutes.

In the second period, Carl Corazzini tied the score at 1-1 with his seventh goal of the year at 2:45, followed by Ryan Potulny's power play goal at 13:24 giving Springfield a 2-1 lead through 40 minutes of play.

The Devils rallied in the third period with Vladimir Zharkov tying the score at 2-2 at 9:41, followed by Matt Halischuk just a minute later giving Lowell a 3-2 lead. Halischuk added a second goal late in the final frame capping off a 4-2 Devils' win.
