The Dallas Stars have recalled goaltender BRENT KRAHN from the Chicago Wolves.

The 26-year-old netminder picked up his 12th American Hockey League shutout and first shutout of the season with a 30-save performance in his last start against Houston on Jan. 31. He has notched a 4-3-0 record with a 2.28 goals-against average and .914 save percentage in eight outings with Chicago this season, which includes allowing two or fewer goals five times, since being assigned by Dallas on Dec. 12, 2008.

KRAHN started the season with the ECHL's Las Vegas Wranglers, where he registered a 1-4-1 record with a 4.04 goals-against average and .874 save percentage. Last year, the Winnipeg, Manitoba, native, appeared in 14 AHL games with the Quad City Flames, posting a 6-6-2 record, 2.49 goals-against average and .905 save percentage.

Overall, the Calgary Flames first choice, ninth overall, in the 2000 National Hockey League Entry Draft has recorded a 75-62-14 record and 2.55 goals-against average in 163 career AHL outings from 2003 to present with the Wolves, Flames, Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights, San Antonio Rampage and Lowell Lock Monsters. He has also amassed an 8-9-3 mark and a 3.03 goals-against average in 20 career ECHL outings with Las Vegas (2003-04, 2008-09).
