INDIANAPOLIS - Danny Ortiz delivered a pinch hit RBI double in the ninth to walk off against Louisville, 2-1, on a night dominated by pitching at Victory Field.

It was a matchup of two of Baseball America's top 100 prospects in Tyler Glasnow (14th) and Cody Reed (34th), with the game living up to expectations in every way.

Glasnow worked a season-high seven innings for Indianapolis (15-12), allowing four hits while striking out 11 for the second time this season.

Reed went stride-for-stride with Glasnow in his start for Louisville (16-11), pitching eight shutout innings of his own and striking out eight.

Neither team would score until the starters departed.

The Indians plated the game's first run in the eighth. Max Moroff singled to left to open the frame and moved up to second on a sacrifice from Jacob Stallings. Cole Figueroa then singled to center in a pinch hit at bat, plating Moroff.

Louisville struck back for a run in the top of the ninth, scoring their one run on a wild pitch.

The stage was set for drama in the ninth. Josh Bell singled with one out before Ortiz hammered a pitch into right center field, scoring Bell from first.

The teams will play the rubber match tomorrow afternoon at 1:35 p.m.
