Today's Game

This afternoon, the Bisons wrap up their four-game series with the Syracuse Chiefs at Coca-Cola Field (1:05 p.m.). A win today would give the Herd a series split, following yesterday's 2-1 win. The Bisons start a seven-game roadtrip tomorrow in Durham. Buffalo is 4-9 at home this season and an even .500 (8-8) on the road.

Last Game (BUF 2, SYR 1)

LHP Wade LeBlanc posted seven shutout innings to help the Herd snap its four-game losing streak with a 2-1 win over the Chiefs. LeBlanc struck out six and walked just two. LHP Colt Hynes came on with two on base in the ninth to earn the save. INF Matt Dominguez opened the scoring with his third home run of the season.

vs. Syracuse (2-4)

The Bisons win yesterday also snapped a four-game losing streak to their Thruway Series rival. Buffalo is now 79-78 all-time against the Chiefs at Coca-Cola Field. These teams will meet next for a four-game home-and-home series starting in Buffalo on June 2.

Roberto Hernandez

Today, RHP Roberto Hernandez makes his third start of the season for the Herd. The righty allowed three runs over five innings on Tuesday in a loss to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The righty has allowed just three extra-base hits over his first two starts and has held opponents to a .182 average against. Hernandez is 9-8 with a 3.87 ERA in 22 career appearances with the Bisons.

David Adams

INF David Adams' nine-game hit streak is even more impressive considering how many times he's gotten on base since April 24. Along with 11 hits and a .500 average over the streak, Adams has walked seven times for a .621 on-base pct. For the year, the veteran is reaching base at a .412 clip that is 11 plate appearances shy of qualifying as the 3rd-best mark in the International League.

Matt Dominguez

INF Matt Dominguez hit his third home run of the season yesterday and now has hit in 10 of his last 11 Triple-A games. Since April 17, the infielder has averaged .405 (17-42) with four doubles, three home runs and 12 RBI. He is now tied with INF Jesus Montero with the Bisons' best batting average on the season (.292).
