Trenton Titans Continue to Build, Boasting Mid-Season Increases Over

February 7, 2013 - ECHL (ECHL)
Trenton Titans News Release

TRENTON, N.J. - Continuing to build a team rooted in the community is paying off as the mid-season numbers were calculated for the first half of the Trenton Titans Hockey Team's 2012-2013 season. The Titans have shown an increase in all areas including ticket sales, partnership sales, attendance, and community relations so far this year.

The biggest jump was seen in the increase in community partners and sponsors that have joined the Titan's Nation since last year. During the first half of the 2012-2013 season the Titan's saw a 31% increase in the number of sponsors over the previous year. "An increase that size in our community partnerships means that sponsors see our growing fan base as a valuable asset to their marketing and outreach strategies," according to Rich Lisk, Titan's President/CEO, "Building partners in and around the city was part of what made the Titan's so successful the first time around and it's an important part of our steady climb back up."

In addition to the increase in partnerships, other important benchmarks reported midway through the 2012/2013 seasons in comparison to last season include the following percentages:

- A 19 percent increase in ticket sales

- A 9 percent increase in sponsorship revenue

- A 10 percent increase in attendance average

- A 20 percent increase in public appearances and community relations events.
