
Torres & Godard Reassigned by Islanders

BRIDGEPORT, CT â The American Hockey League's 2001-02 Regular Season Champion and Eastern Conference Playoff Champion Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have announced the reassignment of Left Wing Raffi Torres and Right Wing Eric Godard to the team by the Islanders.
Torres and Godard are both expected to be in the lineup when the Sound Tigers finish a four-game homestand tonight at 7:35 p.m. versus the Worcester IceCats. The Sound Tigers will also visit the Albany River Rats tomorrow at 7 p.m. in their last home game before the AHL All-Star break.
All Sound Tigers' games are broadcast live on "The ZONE" FOX Sports Radio 1300 and at www.soundtigers.com. WSTC/WNLK 1400/1350 also broadcasts road games.
