Game Notes: The Rochester Americans host the Houston Aeros tonight at The Blue Cross Arena at the Rochester War Memorial at 7:35 p.m.... The game is part of a two-game series against the Aeros, which ends tonight... The contest is the fourth and final regular season meeting between the two teams... The Aeros lead the series with a 3-0-0 record, following Wednesday night's 5-2 win over Rochester... The game will be televised live on Time Warner Cable Channel 98 and shown tape delayed at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1st... The contest will also be broadcast on WHTK 1280-AM and on the web at www.amerks.com.

Last Meeting: The Houston Aeros continued to roll along, winning for the 17th time in their last 21 games (17-2-2), following a 5-2 win over the Rochester Americans Wednesday night at The Blue Cross Arena... Hnat Domenichelli led the Aeros with three goals and Tony Tuzzolino and Lawrence Nycholat also scored goals for Houston... Norm Milley and Peter Ratchuk scored goals for the Amerks... Mika Noronen made 36 saves in the loss.

Amerk Notes: The Amerks (16-18-11-3, 46 points) are coming off a 5-2 loss to the Houston Aeros... The loss ended Rochester's three-game unbeaten streak (2-0-1-0)... Goaltender Mika Noronen is one shutout away from tying Bobby Perreault's mark of 16... Goaltender Ryan Miller and forward Denis Hamel remain on recall with the Buffalo Sabres... Rochester Americans left wing Jason Botterill will represent the Amerks at the 2003 Dodge AHL All-Star Classic, February 2-3, in Portland, Maine... Botterill, who leads the team and the AHL with 28 goals, will play for the Canadian All-Star team... Sean McMorrow leads the league with 227 penalty minutes... Chris Taylor is tied for second in the league with 36 assists.

Houston Notes: Houston (33-12-4-0) enters the game with the best record in the Western Conference with 70 points... The Aeros are 17-2-2 over their last 21 games... Houston is in the midst of a seven-game road trip... Jean-Guy Trudel leads the Aeros with 51 points (21+30) in 48 games... He is tied for third in the AHL in scoring... Travis Roche has nine assists in his last seven games... Goaltender Frederic Cloutier has won all four of his AHL starts, compiling a 1.43 goals-against average and a .943 save percentage.

Amerks to serve plates instead of pucks for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation: The Rochester Americans will be serving plates instead of pucks at the annual 2003 Amerks Celebrity Waiter Dinner & Sports Memorabilia Auction, to be held on Tuesday, February 25th at 5:30 p.m. at The Four Points Sheraton in downtown Rochester... Amerk players will serve guests their food and drinks for tips, with all proceeds benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Rochester...
