- Sam Carrick scored twice this afternoon to match his total for last season (nine). The centreman has 23 points through 41 games this season.
- Colin Smith recorded an assist and a goal for his second multi-point effort in a Marlies uniform. Smith has seven points in his last five games.
- Brendan Leipsic, assigned to the Marlies earlier today, recorded his 22nd and 23rd assists of the season.
- Matt Frattin assisted on both Carrick tallies to increase his point total to 28 through 58 games this season.

NOTABLES
