
Iowa Recalls Knight from Quad City

DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Wild General Manager Brent Flahr announced on Sunday the American Hockey League (AHL) club has recalled forward Jared Knight from the Quad City Mallards, Iowa's ECHL affiliate.
Knight, 24 (1/16/92), returns from Quad City, where he has suited up in eight games, with five points off three goals and a pair of assists. He has played in 34 games for Iowa this season, scoring once and totaling seven points. Minnesota acquired him from the Boston Bruins on Mar.1, 2015 (trade deadline) in exchange for forward Zack Phillips. Since joining Iowa, Knight has played in 60 games, scoring four goals and adding 10 assists for 14 points. The Battle Creek, MI native has played parts of four seasons with the AHL's Providence Bruins from 2010-2015. For his AHL career, Knight has played in 154 games, scoring ten times and adding 28 assists for 38 points. The 5-foot-11, 196-pounder was drafted by Boston in the second round (#32 overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
The Wild continues a seven-game road trip on Monday, Mar. 7. The team makes additional stops in Manitoba (2), and Milwaukee (1) before returning home on Sunday, Mar. 13 to host the Milwaukee Admirals at 5 p.m. The Subway/Star 102.5 Combo Pack is available for purchase starting at $12. The combo pack includes one ticket, one hot dog, one soda, and one Subway coupon. The Wild hosts a live red jersey auction following the game courtesy of the American Heart Association. The Wells Fargo Arena box office is open Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday. For Saturday game days, the box office will open at 10 a.m. For Sunday game days the box office will open at 12 p.m. Fans may also purchase tickets by calling 1-844-55-HYVEE or by visiting participating Hy-Vee food stores locations in the greater Des Moines area. The Iowa Wild 2015-16 season is presented by Mercy Medical Center, it runs from October through April. Fans may purchase seats to see any of the team's 38 regular season home games at Wells Fargo Arena.
