Toledo Walleye Announce 2012-13 Schedule

(Toledo, OH) - Get ready for T-Town Hockey and all that goes with it. The Walleye open its 72-game regular season schedule at home against the Kalamazoo Wings on Saturday, Oct. 13th at 7:05pm.

The Walleye will play 32 of the team's 36 total home games on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. "Our fans are so supportive. Coming off three great years the Walleye have welcomed more than 665,000 fans to the Huntington Center," says Erik Ibsen, Toledo Walleye Assistant General Manager. "We can't wait to kick-off our fourth season."

Four home games of the season are highlighted with action against the newest geographical rival Fort Wayne Komets, and four other home games versus the expansion Evansville IceMen. The Walleye also play at home the day after Thanksgiving (November 23) and will have two games during the Christmas holiday season (December 28 & 29).

Many fan favorite events return for the 2012-13 season, including Scout Sleepovers, School Celebration Day, Jersey Auctions, and Hockey Heritage Weekend.

Walleye game plans and group outings are on sale now. Fans can order their tickets by phone at 419-725-9255.

Individual tickets will be placed on sale later this summer.

**The Toledo Walleye play all of their home games at the Huntington Center in downtown Toledo. The Walleye are the proud ECHL affiliate of the 2010 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks and the Detroit Red Wings.
