Trenton Titans Release New Schedule for the 2012-13 Season

TRENTON, N.J. - The Trenton Titans Hockey Team announced today its new schedule for the 2012-13 Join the Nation hockey season.

The schedule for the 2012-13 season represents a strong push by the Titan's administration to include more weekend games. Over 80% of the home games this season will be held on a Friday or Saturday night, or a Sunday afternoon. Out of those weekend games, 24 are on a Friday or Saturday night. "We are pleased with next year's schedule," says Rich Lisk, President & CEO of the Titans, "I know our fans struggled to get to those nine Wednesday night games last year and this will make a huge difference to them and to us as far as ticket sales and attendance goes. We diligently reviewed the calendar prior to putting in our schedule request this year purposefully trying to avoid weekdays and football Sundays. This is a marked improvement from last year's schedule."

Earlier this month the Titans announced their new Join the Nation campaign focusing on the long standing history of close knit fans and partners of the Trenton Titans. The Nation campaign will feature a new Titan's logo and a number of events and ticket packages focused on building Titan's Nation. The Titans' new campaign will include Nation tour stops, ticket holder functions, on-line contests, promotional appearances to name a few. The Trenton Titans returned in the 2011-12 hockey season after a five year hiatus and boasted a 26.1% attendance increase over the previous year, the largest of any team in the 20-team ECHL.
