Titans fall 2-1 to Storm in overtime

TOLEDO, OH (March 15, 2006) - The Trenton Titans fell in the extra session to the Toledo Storm by a score of 2-1 at the Toledo Sports Arena on Wednesday evening.

Skating on a 5-on-3 advantage in the first period, Ken Magowan was able to give the Storm a 1-0 lead at 11:20 with his 23rd of the season.

After the scoreless second frame, the Titans tied it up in the third on the power play as Scott Bertoli knocked home the rebound from Dave McCulloch's wrist shot at 4:22.

The two teams would take the game into overtime where Bracken Kearns only needed fifty-one seconds to clinch the victory 2-1.

Rejean Beauchemin had a stellar performance in the loss turning away 41 of 43 shots

The Titans ended the night 1-for-6 on the power play and 7-for-8 on the penalty kill.
