Charlotte, Gwinnett Players, Organizations Fined

March 15, 2006 - ECHL (ECHL) News Release


PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Wednesday that Charlotte right wing Brandon Cullen and Gwinnett right wing Guillaume Desbiens have each been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of their actions in ECHL Game #717 at Charlotte on Mar. 10.

Cullen and Desbiens were each assessed a Game Misconduct under Rule 56(g) - Fisticuffs after engaging in an altercation following the end of the game.

Both players are fined under Rule 33A Supplemental Discipline.

The ECHL also announced that it has fined the Charlotte Checkers organization and the Gwinnett Gladiators organization an undisclosed amount under Rule 56(g) as a result of the players' actions.

The ECHL also announced that it has fined the Charlotte Checkers organization an undisclosed amount per Rule 79 - Video Tape Procedure of the Playing Manual.
