"Tip-A-Bruin" raises $800

The Providence Bruins continued their eighth year of "Tip-A-Bruin" nights on Wednesday night at Dave & Buster's in the Providence Place Mall, raising $800 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Rhode Island. Bruin players Martin Samuelsson, Kris Vernarsky, Tim Thomas and Hannu Toivonen helped out the waitstaff, and sold raffle tickets for autographed Bruin sticks, as well as discounted tickets for upcoming Providence Bruins home games.
Wednesday's "Tip-A-Bruin" night was the third of four this season. The final event will be held on Wednesday, March 3, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Dave & Buster's.
The Providence Bruins' next home game will be played on Friday, February 13 at 7:05 p.m., when they host the Worcester IceCats. They will also host the Manchester Monarchs on Sunday at 4:05 p.m., and the Norfolk Admirals on Monday at 4:05 p.m. Friday's game will be televised live on COX 3.
