Monarchs Add Dameworth

MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, the AHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, on Wednesday signed defenseman Chad Dameworth to a professional tryout agreement. Dameworth, 31, has appeared in seven games for the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL this season, recording zero points and four penalty minutes. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound native of Marquette, Michigan, has also appeared in 20 games for the Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League this season. He recorded six points (1-5=6) and 39 penalty minutes with the Wings.

The Monarchs are on the road this week with a stop in Worcester on Wednesday, February 11 to face the IceCats at 7:05 p.m. They then head to Albany to play the River Rats on Saturday, February 14 at 4:00 p.m. The Monarchs will finish the weekend in Providence on Sunday, February 15 at 4:05 p.m. when they face off with the Bruins.
