Houston, TX â The American Hockey League's Houston Aeros announced Wednesday a $5 discount on their corner seats for this Monday's 7 p.m. Presidents Day game against Grand Rapids for anyone sharing the exact last name with any U.S. President. Corner seats will be $15 for those sharing a last name with a Commander in Chief. The discount is valid on the day of game only, and there is one discounted ticket per person with the last name.
Following is a list of valid last names: Adams, Arthur, Buchanan, Bush, Carter, Cleveland, Clinton, Coolidge, Eisenhower, Fillmore, Ford, Garfield, Grant, Harding, Harrison, Hayes, Hoover, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Kennedy, Lincoln, Madison, McKinley, Monroe, Nixon, Pierce, Polk, Reagan, Roosevelt, Taft, Taylor, Truman, Tyler, Van Buren, Washington and Wilson.
Monday's Presidents Day game kicks off a three home game week for the Aeros. Wednesday is Chronicle in Education Day with a special 11 a.m. start time against the Grand Rapids Griffins. More than 3,000 school children are expected to be in attendance for the educational-filled day. Also, seniors 55 and over can get a special $8 ticket and can also walk the concourse of Toyota Center beginning at 9 a.m.
Friday, Feb. 20, the Aeros entertain the Milwaukee Admirals at 7 p.m. on Mardi Gras Bead Night.
