SUNDAY, NOT A FUN DAY: The TinCaps dropped both games of a doubleheader against the LumberKings. Clinton took the front half, 7-5, and the finale, 4-2.

YOUNG MEETS OLD: The TinCaps have the youngest lineup in the Midwest League this year, while the LumberKings have the oldest team in the 16-club circuit. The average age for a Fort Wayne position player this year has been 19.4 years old. For Clinton, it's 22.3.
IN CONTROL: TinCaps pitchers have walked the fewest batters in the Midwest League this season - 284 in 851.0 IP. That's only 3.0 BB/9. Fort Wayne also has the best ratio of strikeouts to walks (3.05/1).

NO LUCK FOR SUWINSKI: Jack Suwinski has the 3rd lowest Batting Average on Balls in Play (BABIP) in the Midwest League at .249. An average BABIP is usually around .300. Here in 2017, Suwinski had a .302 BABIP.
LEAGUE LEADERS: Jeisson Rosario is tied for 6th in runs (59), 7th in OBP (.383), and tied 9th in walks (49)... Esteury Ruiz is 3rd in SB (32)... Robbie Podorsky is tied 9th in SB (21)... Osvaldo Hernandez is 1st in ERA (1.97)... Aaron Leasher is 9th in ERA (3.39)... Travis Radke is 4th in saves (11)
ADVANCED STATS LEAGUE LEADERS: Jeisson Rosario is 9th in BB% (13%) and 8th in BB/K (0.68)... Luis Campusano has the 10th lowest K% (14%)... Tirso Ornelas has the 8th lowest Swing & Miss% (8%).
BULLPEN BOOMERANG: TinCaps relievers have posted a 3.06 ERA over the last 79 games since April 25. In this time, the 'pen has been led by Travis Radke, Caleb Boushley, Evan Miller, and Ben Sheckler. Through the first 19 games of the year, the bullpen had allowed 60 ER in 72.1 IP for a 7.47 ERA.
