Tigers Acquire Veteran Forward from Broncos

Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers have completed a 4th trade during the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft Thursday.

The Tigers have acquired 04 ‚¬Â² F Mathew Ward (Kamloops, BC) in exchange for the 42nd pick during today's draft, along with a 3rd RD pick in 2027 & a 4th RD pick in 2028.

Ward, 20, has played four seasons with the Broncos in 199 games played, Ward has scored 73 goals and added 135 assists for 208 along with 271 PIMS with Swift Current.

The Tigers organization would like to welcome Mathew and his family to the Tigers organization and looking forward to seeing him at Co-op Place soon.
