Tickets still on sale for Saturday's Dylan-Nelson concert
July 6, 2005 - Midwest League (MWL1)
Cedar Rapids Kernels News Release
July 7, 2005 - Two of the biggest names in music history are set to take the field at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Saturday night and there are still plenty of tickets remaining for the show. Would-be concert goers are reminded that just because they've waited to buy tickets doesn't mean they won't have great seats for the show. All seating is general admission and once the gates open the areas near the stage will fill up on a first come basis. The concert will be held rain or shine. This concert is a first for Veterans Memorial Stadium and should it prove a success for the promoter, JAM Productions, more concerts will likely follow in future years. Fans wishing to purchase tickets to the July 9th concert featuring Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson may still do so by calling the Cost Cutters Kernels Box Office at 896-7560 any time during regular business hours. Tickets purchased through the Kernels cost $51.00 each and that price includes any and all applicable taxes and fees. Tickets are also available through Ticketmaster. This is the second summer that music legends Dylan and Nelson have toured America's minor league baseball stadiums together but this will be their first stop together in Cedar Rapids.
