LAST WEEK'S GAMES -
Tuesday, November 18th
Wichita at Tulsa, 4-3 L (SO)
- After falling behind by three, the Thunder stormed back with second period goals from Kirill Tulupov and Ian Lowe, and a late third period tally from Kenton Miller to send the game into overtime. Neither team was able to find the net in the extra period, and the Thunder were unable to find the net during the shootout, falling by a final score of 4-3.
Saturday, November 22nd
Missouri at Wichita, 6-0 W
- Wichita had control of this game from the start. The Thunder had twelve players collect points, including five with multi-point games. Tyler Bunz stopped 27 shots and garnered his first shutout in a Thunder uniform while securing his second win of the season.
Sunday, November 23rd
Wichita at Tulsa, 3-2 L
- The Thunder struck early in the game as Theo Peckham netted his first of the season. Kurtis Bartliff added another goal in the second period as the game continued to see-saw until the third. Former Thunder center Jon Booras netted a pair including the game-winner halfway through the third period to secure the win for the Oilers

STANDING TALL - Goalie Tyler Bunz earned the first shutout of his Thunder career on Saturday against the Missouri Mavericks while stopping 27 shots. Bunz's 2.32 GAA is good for 11th in the ECHL. It was also his second shutout of his professional career and earned assists in two-straight games over the weekend.
SEASON HIGH - The Thunder found the net six times on Saturday against Missouri, which is the most goals in one game so far this season. 12 players recorded points, which is also a season-high.
SHOTS, SHOTS, SHOTS - Wichita started out the season trying to find scoring chances. The Thunder averaged 23.33 shots per game in the first three contests. Over the last eight games, Wichita has eclipsed 30 or more shots and is averaging 35.38 shots per game over that stretch. The Thunder unloaded 26 shots in the second period and 49 shots against the Oilers on Tuesday, which are new season highs.
POWER KILLERS - Wichita's special teams have been a strength as of late, and this week was no different. The Thunder killed of 11 of 12 power plays for their opponents during the week, putting the PK percentage at 91.7% over that stretch.
MIDDLE MEN - Wichita has come out strong in the second period over the last few games. Last week, the Thunder averaged 18 shots on goal during the second, including 26 against Tulsa on Tuesday. Six of Wichita's 11 goals last week occured in the middle period.
BEHIND THE LINE - Ian Lowe recorded his second goal of the season from behind the net on Tuesday night. It was the second goal in the last eight days that a Thunder player has put one in from behind the goal line. He then added a shorthanded goal on Saturday night, increasing his total to three goals and nine assists on the season.
GOING EXTRA - Wichita fell behind 3-0 before climbing back into the game on Tuesday night and forcing overtime. The Oilers eventually won, outscoring the Thunder 2-0 in the shootout round. It was the third time this season that the Thunder and Oilers needed more than 60 minutes to decide the outcome of their contest at the BOK Center. Sunday's contest at the BOK Center was the first between the two teams that had been decided in regulation, which is fitting for the long-time rivals playing in their 255th meeting all-time.
THUNDERBOLTS... Kenton Miller is tied for second in power play goals (4) while Danick Gauthier is tied in seventh with three on the man advantage...Jared Walker needs four more to equal the amount of goals he scored in each of his first two seasons as a pro (9)...Wichita is second in the league in shots against per game (25.29)...Wichita is 1-1-0-1 when leading after one...Wichita is 3-2-0-0 when tied after one...Wichita is 2-3-1-0 when tied after two periods...Wichita is 4-4-0-2 when outshooting the opponent...Wichita is 3-1-0-0 in two-goal games...Wichita is 4-2-0-1 when scoring first...

Spider-Man swings into town on Saturday night to entertain the fans. Sunday is a Coat and Clothing Drive. The Thunder return to action Wednesday night when the Quad City Mallards make their first appearance for a pre-Thanksgiving feast, starting at 7:05 p.m.
