Elmira Jackals News Release

The Elmira Jackals, proud member of the ECHL, announced today that three more players were loaned to American Hockey League clubs for Saturday night action. Right wings Bobby Robins and Pierre-Luc Faubert joined the Rochester Americans for their game tonight in Syracuse while Binghamton received center Scott May in time for the Senators' visit to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this evening.

Faubert, two goals and an assist, leaves Elmira on a three-game point scoring streak and has goals in each of his last two contests. His three points it tied for second on the club while Robins has two points in three games, including a game-winning power play goal in last Saturday's 4-2 win at Trenton.

May paces the Jackals with five points in three games, including three goals. The fourth year pro out of Ohio State is seeing time with his fourth AHL club since graduating from the Buckeyes program. May spent the final part of last season with the Iowa Stars after previous stops with St. John's (2004-05) and Milwaukee (2005-06).

With Joe Grimaldi joining the Americans from Elmira on Friday, a total of four players have been loaned to the AHL this weekend and six Jackals have now spent time in the American Hockey League this season.

With the Jackals hosting the South Carolina Stingrays Sunday at First Arena (4:05 p.m.), the status of the loaned players rejoining Elmira was unknown as of Saturday night. Rochester (Grimaldi, Robins, Faubert) hosts Binghamton (May) tomorrow night in a 6:05 p.m. face off at Blue Cross Arena.
