Three Changes for Grrrowl in Time for Weekend Games

GREENVILLE, SC â The Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL have announced three moves that will bolster the Grrrowl roster in time for the weekend games. SCOTT KABOTOFF (G) has been traded to the Peoria Rivermen for financial considerations, DANIEL BOISCLAIR (G) (bwa-clair) has been assigned to the Grrrowl from the Carolina Hurricane organization, and DERRICK BYFUGLIEN (D) comes to the Grrrowl in a trade with the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL.
DANIEL BOISCLAIR (6-2, 180lb., goalie) is a Carolina Hurricane NHL contract player who has played 5 games with the Peoria Rivermen this season, and has a 2-2-0 record, 1.78 goals-against-average, and a .944 save percentage over those games. Boisclair was selected in the 6th round (#181 overall) in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft by the Hurricanes. He will be in uniform for the Grrrowl in Augusta on Friday night, and will wear #33.
DERRICK BYFUGLIEN (6-1, 200lb., defenseman) has played in 19 games with Cincinnati this season, totaling 8 points (2 goals, 6 assists), and 12 penalty minutes. Byfuglien (by-foog-lee-ann) was selected in the 4th round (#122 overall) in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft, and is in his third professional season. Byfuglien will wear #22 for the Grrrowl, and will be in uniform on Saturday night when the Grrrowl host the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:05pm.
SCOTT KABOTOFF (6-0, 175lb., goalie) had played in 9 games for the Grrrowl this season, and had a record of 3-4-1, with a 3.9 GAA, and .876 save percentage.
Greenville will be on the road for a 7:35pm game with the Augusta Lynx at the Augusta-Richmond County Civic Center on Friday, December 12th, before returning home for the weekend contests against South Carolina and Roanoke.
