BOWIE, Md. - David Miller of Crofton, Md., found the Golden Wieters the morning of Friday May, 29. The one-of-a-kind bobble head doll was hiding between shelves at the Bowie branch of Prince George's County Memorial Library System.

After three weeks, six clues and two trips to the library, Miller claimed his Matt Wieters prize pack. His detective skills earned him a non-golden Matt Wieters bobble head doll, a Wieters T-shirt, a baseball signed by the switch-hitting catcher and a ceremonial first pitch.

Miller found the Golden Wieters on his own. "It was a one-man operation. The clue about Matt Wieters valuing a good education led me to the library."

The Baysox had a lot of fun with the Search For The Golden Wieters. The team plans on staging another scavenger hunt in Anne Arundel County in June. The Anne Arundel Search For The Golden Wieters will be announced on www.baysox.com.
