
Texas Stars Season Opener Sold Out

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced today their season opening contest this evening against the Iowa Wild at Cedar Park Center is sold out.
This marks the first sellout of the season for the Stars, and the first time in franchise history their home opener for the season has sold out. Seating capacity for hockey at Cedar Park Center is 6,863. The Stars will be raising their Calder Cup Championship banner to the rafters of Cedar Park Center on Saturday night, along with banners for their Division, Regular Season, and Western Conference Titles.
Fans in attendance will receive a replica Calder Cup Championship mini-banner.
Those unable to attend Saturday's game will have a chance to see the Stars at Cedar Park Center on Oct. 18, Oct. 25, and Oct. 29, this month. Call 512-GO-STARS (467-8277) for tickets, and a complete schedule for the season is available at TexasStarsHockey.com.
