Comets Assign Joe Cannata to Ontario Reign

Utica Comets Director of Hockey Operations Pat Conacher announced today that the club has assigned goaltender Joe Cannata to the ECHL's Ontario Reign.

Cannata spent the 2013-14 season with Utica, recording an 11-12-1 record in 28 games played, with a 2.83 goals against average and .907 save percentage.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound netminder has appeared in 50 career professional games at the AHL and ECHL levels, with a 21-22-1 record, a 2.83 goals against average and .909 save percentage.
