Akron RubberDucks News Release
AKRON, OH - The first-place Aeros return to Canal Park Friday to begin their longest homestand of the season, a ten-game marathon with three games against Binghamton, four against Erie, and three with Harrisburg. The July 25th - August 3rd homestand could prove very meaningful in Akron's quest for the Southern Division crown. All games begin at 7:05 p.m., except the two Sunday contests, which have a 2:05 p.m. first pitch.
The Aeros are offering specials, a pair of fireworks shows, and an extravagant Faith Night for fans visiting Canal Park:
The homestand kicks off Friday night with a fireworks show that will light up the outfield sky, courtesy of Donato's Pizza.
Saturday is Faith Night at Canal Park and Christian rock band Hawk Nelson will perform a pre-game concert that also features Audio Adrenaline's Mark Stuart, Run Kid Run, and the VeggieTales. Aeros LF Matt LaPorta will also give his personal faith testimony prior to Hawk Nelson taking the stage.
