
Thursday's Sea Dogs' Games Postponed

Portland Sea Dogs News Release
Portland, Maine- The completion of Wednesday's (July 23rd) suspended Portland Sea Dogs game against the Connecticut Defenders (Giants) along with Thursday's (July 24th) regularly scheduled game have been postponed due to unsafe field conditions. Today was the last scheduled game between the two clubs in Portland. As a result the suspended game and today's regularly scheduled game will be made up in Norwich, Connecticut when the Sea Dogs visit the Defenders August 7th through 10th.
Tickets dated July 23rd and July 24th may be exchanged at the Hadlock Field Box Office for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2008 Sea Dogs home game, subject to availability. There are No Refunds on rain checks. Any questions regarding tickets should be directed to the Sea Dogs Box Office at 207-879-9500 or by email to tickets@seadogs.com.
In the suspended game, Portland leads Connecticut 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth with the bases loaded and two outs. Mickey Hall is due up for the Sea Dogs. This game will be completed on Thursday, August 7th in Norwich, Connecticut, followed by the regularly scheduled game that day, which will be seven innings in duration.
No make up date has yet been announced for the July 24th postponement.
The Portland Sea Dogs travel to Trenton, New Jersey Friday to take on the first place Trenton Thunder (Yankees).
