ENTERING TODAY'S ACTION...
Today, the 'Wolves and Binghamton Mets (New York Mets) meet for the final time in 2008 in doubleheader action at Jerry Uht Park. Today marks the third doubleheader between the two clubs. Binghamton is 3-1 in doubleheader games against Erie. In 12 games against Erie, Binghamton is batting .355 as a club with 13 home runs. The Mets have outscored the 'Wolves this season 92-71. The 'Wolves team ERA vs. the Mets is 7.29 which is 2.42 higher than the team's overall ERA. He went six shutout innings allowing just three hits with two walks and a season-high nine strikeouts...Game two features lefty Danny Christensen against RHP Eric Brown. Christensen took a loss in his last outing at Akron and is making his second start against the B-Mets. In the game, he went four innings, allowing five runs, three earned, on four hits...Brown is making his third appearance and second start against the 'Wolves. He has a pair of no-decisions in his previous two outings vs. Erie.
