Harrisburg, PA - This is your weekly informational email about the coming week for the Senators. Ian Desmond and other Harrisburg Senators will be in the city of Harrisburg to help run baseball clinics for various summer park programs. The clinics will be held from 10:30-12:30 Monday, July 28 - Wednesday, July 30. Tuesday, July 29 Strawberry Square 11:00-1:00 P.M. The Fan Jam & the Senators Prize Wheel and Rascal will be at Strawberry Square during lunch time. Friday, August 1 Dauphin County Cultural Celebration 4:30-5:30 Rascal and Grrrounder will attend the 3rd Annual Dauphin County Cultural Celebration in downtown Harrisburg. Friday, August 1 Williams Grove Speedway 6:00-7:00 Rascal will be at the Speedway, located in Mechanicsburg, for Kid's Night to sign autographs and take pictures. Saturday, August 2 Fredrickson Library Run 8:30-9:30 A.M. Rascal will be at the Fredrickson Library in Camp Hill as they hold their annual Run/Walk. Upcoming events that benefit the Community: Monday - Wednesday, July 28-30 10:30-12:30 Harrisburg City Parks & Recreation Baseball Clinics Senators Players and Staff will be at various fields in Harrisburg to teach campers the basics of baseball. Saturday, August 9 8:30 A.M. Epilepsy Foundation Fun Run/Walk The Harrisburg Senators are the main event sponsor for the 6th Annual Family Fun Run/Walk on City Island. The event is held to support the Epilepsy Foundation of Western & Central Pennsylvania. General Manager Randy Whitaker is a co-chair of the event, and Senators players will be available for autographs at the race. Registration begins at 8:30 A.M. For more information go to www.efwp.org. Donations in the past week: The Senators have made over 500 donations since October. The Senators are continuing to reach out to local organizations and have donated tickets or merchandise to the following groups in the past week: McAlisterville Fire Company, Dauphin County 4-H Club, Red Lion Fundraising Committee, Dauphin County Prison, My Pink Secret, PA Army National Guard, Abraxas & Town and Country Day School.
