The Bowie Baysox announce two roster moves today:
RHP Fredy Deza transferred to AAA Norfolk from AA Bowie
RHP Ryohei Tanaka transferred to AA Bowie from Extended Spring Training
Deza is 1-2 with a 3.67 ERA in 12 games with the Baysox this season. In 27.0 innings, he has allowed 18 hits and 12 walks while striking out 23. In two games with the Tides this season, Deza is 1-0 with one save and a 5.40 ERA.
Tanaka is the first Japanese player in Baysox history. A former first-round draft pick by the Chiba Lotte Marines, Tanaka signed with the Orioles as a minor league free agent last offseason.
