
T-Bones sign former Oakland A's prospect

KANSAS CITY, Kan.- The Kansas City T-Bones have announced the signing of Andrew Bailey, a 6-foot-5, 215-pound right-handed pitcher born in Christiansburg, Va.
The Oakland Athletics drafted Bailey in the 35th round of the 2010 MLB Amateur Draft out of Concord College. He played for the organization's rookie team in 2010 and advanced the next year to the A- club in Vermont. In 2011 he went 5-0 with a 2.34 ERA over 42.1 innings pitched.
To make room for Bailey, pitcher Sean Toler has been placed on the inactive list.
