Pheasants Activate Heithoff, Release Lind

SIOUX FALLS -- The Sioux Falls Pheasants activated right-handed reliever Thomas Heithoff from the disabled list on Saturday and also released rookie infielder Rob Lind.

Heithoff, 22, had been on the DL since June 9. He is 1-0 with a 3.75 ERA in seven innings of relief this season. He is active for tonight's game against the St. Paul Saints.

Lind batted 4-for-18 (.222) and stole one base in eight games this season as a utility infielder and designated hitter.

The Pheasants are in the midst of a three-game series with the St. Paul Saints. The middle games begins at 6:05 p.m. tonight at concludes at 2:05 p.m. tomorrow.
