Suglobov recalled

Albany N.Y. - The Albany River Rats announced today that right wing Aleksander Suglobov has been recalled by the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League.

Suglobov, 23, led the River Rats with 11 goals and 19 points in 25 games during the 2005-06 campaign. He led the club with six power play goals and recorded his first professional hat trick on November 20, 2005 in Providence, while serving as assistant captain at times over the season's first quarter. The native of Elektrosal, Russia made his NHL debut on January 5, 2004 against the Edmonton Oilers at Continental Airlines Arena. Suglobov was originally drafted by New Jersey with their third choice (56th overall) in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.

The Albany River Rats, owned and operated by Capital District Sports Inc., are in their 13th American Hockey League campaign and serve as the primary affiliate of the National Hockey League's New Jersey Devils.
