Bakersfield Condors News Release

Bakersfield, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors will host three games in three nights this week starting with tonight's matchup against the Toledo Storm at 7:00 p.m. at Centennial Garden. It's the first time in team history that three home games have been played on consecutive nights.

Tonight's Student ID Night, sponsored by WB-TV 12 and 106.1 KRAB Radio, allows all junior high, high school and college students the opportunity to purchase lower level seats for just $1. Any student presenting their valid student ID to the Garden box office can take advantage of the discount. There will be four Student ID Nights this season, with the second of those coming next Thursday as well.

Toledo sticks around to play the Condors on Friday night as well when the Garden will welcome a special pint-sized guest. Little 'e' is the world's smallest Elvis impersonator and will bring his unforgettable song and dance routine to Bakersfield for the first time. At 4-foot-2 and ready to rock, he's sure to leave Condors fans all shook up from his performance. Condors Flagship station KGEO "Hot Talk" AM 1230, Bright House Networks and Rio Bravo Country Club sponsors the night.

On Saturday evening, the Condors wrap up their five-game homestand with a return visit from the San Diego Gulls. That night the Condors will celebrate Veterans' Day by donning special U.S.A. jerseys as a part of the first Jersey Off Our Backs Raffle and Auction, courtesy of KUZZ 107.9 and McDonald's. Five of the unique jerseys will be raffled off, with everyone in attendance eligible to win, and the rest will be auctioned off after the game to raise proceeds for the Ronald McDonald House.

The Condors Coach's Show will hit the airwaves at its regular time and place on Thursday night, but with a slightly altered format with the game starting later that evening. Live from the Holiday Inn Select, the show will start at 6:00 p.m. and will be hosted by the "Voice of the Condors" Kevin Bartl, along with Puck from "The Puck Show". Condors President Matthew Riley will be the guest, there will be prizes and Head Coach Marty Raymond will not be in attendance due to game time preparation and at 6:45 p.m., Bartl will relocate to the broadcast booth to commence "Condors Countdown" and begin the game broadcast.
