American Red Cross To Benefit From Thanksgiving Game

BILOXI, Miss. – The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced today that proceeds from the "Thanks for Giving Game" on Thanksgiving evening at 7:05 p.m. on Thursday, November 25 in the first-ever meeting against the Las Vegas Wranglers at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum will benefit the American Red Cross.

The team has announced the following special events for the evening:

- The game has been dedicated to the American Red Cross Relief Workers who have been working tirelessly to help the victims of the recent hurricanes to hit the Gulf Coast. Relief Workers will be in attendance and honored in a pregame ceremony.

- The Sea Wolves players will be wearing special American Red Cross Jerseys for the game and all jerseys will be auctioned off after the game at the Coliseum with all proceeds benefiting the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

- The Sea Wolves will further donate proceeds from walk-up ticket sales for the Thanksgiving Game to the Relief Fund.

The Sea Wolves get back into action with a home-and-home series against the Louisiana IceGators starting at 7:05 p.m. tomorrow at the Cajundome in Lafayette.

Mississippi's next home game is at 7:35 p.m. on Saturday versus Louisiana at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. The game promotion consists of $2 hotdogs and $2 drafts from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
