
WWE Superstar and St. Louis native Randy Orton to Appear December 17 at Rivermen Game

Peoria, Ill. (November 11, 2004) â President Bart Rogers of the Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL announced today that WWE "RAW" Superstar and St. Louis native Randy Orton will appear Friday, December 17, when the Rivermen face off against the archrival Toledo Storm at 7:30 p.m.
The 6-foot-4, 245-pound Orton will sign autographs on the main concourse outside Section 6 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Orton has held both the World Heavyweight Championship and Intercontinental Championship belts during his more than two and half years on the WWE circuit. Priding himself as "The Legend Killer," Orton has decisions over the likes of Sgt. Slaughter, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Mick Foley and Ric Flair.

The Peoria Rivermen are a proud affiliate of the NHL's St. Louis Blues and a member of the ECHL â The Premier "AA" Hockey League. Peoria continues its ninth season in the 28-team league Friday, November 12 and Saturday, November 13, when they travel to Johnstown, Pa. to battle the rival Chiefs in two in a row at the Cambria County War Memorial.
