Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
(Louisville, KY) - The Lehigh Valley IronPigs (56-63) got a good start out of Dan Straily (4-2) despite losing 2-1 to the Louisville Bats (52-69) on Wednesday night. The Pigs were 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position and left nine players on the base paths.
The Bats got both runs off Straily in the bottom of the third inning. Jesus Reyes homered, and Rob Refsnyder hit an RBI single to score Alfredo Rodriguez. Straily allowed both runs over six innings off six hits and one walk with five strikeouts.
Connor Brogdon and Edgar Garcia each pitched a scoreless inning in relief.
