WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif.. - Dan Straily gave up just one unearned run in his third Triple-A start of the season, leading the River Cats to a 3-1 win over the Reno Aces on Throwback Monday at Raley Field.
Straily, whose sixth-inning fielding error allowed the lone Aces run, moves to a perfect 3-0 on the year. In his three starts, he's registered a 0.96 ERA with 11 hits, five runs, two earned runs, six walks and 20 strikeouts in 18.2 innings of work.
The River Cats used six hits to score their three runs. Sacramento drew first blood in the bottom of the fifth when Jemile Weeks plated Daric Barton on a run-scoring groundout to second base. Their second and third runs came in the bottom of the sixth thanks to a Shane Peterson sacrifice fly and an RBI-single from Barton.
