
Stockton Takes 2nd Straight from Utah

Stockton, California - The Stockton Thunder defeated the Utah Grizzlies 6-1 Saturday night in Stockton.
The Thunder scored a pair of goals in each period on the way to the win.
Utah made it 2-1 late in the first period, after Stockton scored two goals in the first 12:30 of the game, as they scored on a delayed penalty. Adam Pineault was hauled down going towards the net and Utah kept play going for over a minute as they brought out an extra attacker. David Vallorani and Pineault along with the extra skater Berkley Scott had some good chances before Vallorani found Tyler Hinds in the slot for his first pro goal.
Pineault has now scored in all six games for Utah and has seven assists. Vallorani has scored in five of six games and has two goals and seven assists.
Ben Meisner replaced Aaron Dell in goal following the fourth Stockton goal.
The Grizzlies are back home Friday, November 8; Saturday, November 9 and Monday, November 11 for 7 p.m. face-offs with the Ontario Reign in a rematch of last year's first round playoff series.
Friday is Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Night featuring Monique Pineault, the wife of Grizzlies forward and assistant captain Adam Pineault.
Saturday is "Pooch on the Pond" where fans are encouraged to bring their dogs to the game for a $24 a person with their dog. After Saturday's game is a free post-game skate. Skate rental is $2.
Monday is the first Maverik Monday of the year. Get six tickets for $30 with a receipt from Maverik.
