SF Bulls Can't Rally by Eagles in 4-1 Loss

LOVELAND, Colo. - The San Francisco Bulls (2-4-1-0) lost, 4-1, to the Colorado Eagles (5-2-0-0), Saturday night at the Budweiser Events Center. The Bulls next play in Ontario on Wednesday, before playing in their Home Opener on Friday, November 8 against the Bakersfield Condors.

For the third straight game, the Eagles struck early in the first period. Teegan Moore scored at 3:34 for a 1-0 Colorado lead. Brett Findlay scored his first professional goal on the power play at 6:45 of the first to tie the game at one. Chris Crane and Mark Lee earned the assists. With 2:28 remaining in the first period, Daniel Johnston scored a power-play goal for a 2-1 Eagles advantage.

In the second period, the Bulls out-shot the Eagles 10-7, but Colorado scored the lone goal. Ray Sawada tallied his third goal of the season with 6:25 remaining on the power play for a 2-1 Eagles win.

A defensive third period saw neither team able to generate much offense. Kevin Ulanski scored an empty-net goal for a 4-1 final. Each team registered five shots in the third period.
