
Stingrays Unveil 2011 Pink in the Rink Jerseys

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays unveiled their 2011 Pink in the Rink jerseys today at a press conference at East Cooper Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant. The jerseys will be worn during the Stingrays' Fifth Annual "Pink in the Rink" night presented by East Cooper Medical Center benefiting Susan G. Komen-Lowcountry on Saturday, January 22 as the Stingrays battle the Greenville Road Warriors at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum.
The jerseys will be auctioned off live at the end of the game with proceeds going towards Susan G. Komen-Lowcountry to help fight breast cancer. In addition to the jersey auction, fans can support the cause by participating in our silent auction featuring many great items including game-used pink hockey sticks, a Washington Capitals jersey signed by NHL superstar Alex Ovechkin and NASCAR race tickets! All proceeds will be donated to help fight breast cancer. Pink Packs are on sale now for $30! The Stingrays return to action tonight, Friday, January 14 against the Florida Everblades at 7:05 p.m. at the Coliseum and Sunday, January 16 at 4:00 p.m. against the Kalamazoo Wings. Friday is Trident Health Systems Night and 100.9 WAY FM Family Friday! Join the Stingrays on Sunday for Mascot Mania and Kid's Day! Kid's tickets are only $5 (walk-up only)! Come early for a pre-game kid's carnival and bring your ice skates for a post-game skate with the Stingrays!
