ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Friday announced the following fines and suspensions.

Ontario ‚¬â„¢s Johnson Fined, Suspended

Ontario ‚¬â„¢s Chaz Johnson has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #330, Alaska at Ontario, on Jan. 12.

Johnson was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct under Rule #48.4 - Illegal Check to the Head, at 15:53 of the first period.

Johnson is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players ‚¬â„¢ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player ‚¬â„¢s Hardship Fund.

Johnson will miss Ontario ‚¬â„¢s game at Las Vegas on Jan. 14.

Bakersfield ‚¬â„¢s Snetsinger Fined, Suspended

Bakersfield ‚¬â„¢s Brad Snetsinger has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #331, Bakersfield at Stockton, on Jan. 12.

Snetsinger is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players ‚¬â„¢ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player ‚¬â„¢s Hardship Fund.

Snetsinger will miss Bakersfield ‚¬â„¢s games against Alaska on Jan. 14 and Ontario on Jan. 15.

Florida ‚¬â„¢s Egener Fined

Florida ‚¬â„¢s Mike Egener has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #336, Florida at Greenville, on Jan. 13.

He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players ‚¬â„¢ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player ‚¬â„¢s Hardship Fund.

Florida ‚¬â„¢s Fukala Fined

Florida ‚¬â„¢s Kevin Fukala has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #336, Florida at Greenville, on Jan. 13.

Fukala was assessed a game misconduct under Rule #46.6 - Fighting other than during the periods of the game.

He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players ‚¬â„¢ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player ‚¬â„¢s Hardship Fund.

Greenville ‚¬â„¢s Reynolds Fined

Greenville ‚¬â„¢s T.J. Reynolds has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #336, Florida at Greenville, on Jan. 13.

Reynolds was assessed a game misconduct under Rule #46.6 - Fighting other than during the periods of the game.

He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players ‚¬â„¢ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player ‚¬â„¢s Hardship Fund.
