
Stingrays Sign Campbell

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays, ECHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals and of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, announced today the signing of rookie left winger Trent Campbell.
Campbell, 24, joins the Stingrays from oversees where he played for the Ours de Villard-de-Lans of the French League. While in Europe, Campbell had four points (2g, 2a) in six games with eight penalty minutes.
Prior to his stint in Europe, the 5-foot-10, 175-pound Campbell spent the last for years at Lake Superior State University where he had 90 points (36g, 54a) in 153 games with the Lakers. The Beauval, Sask. native led the Lakers in points the last two seasons and did not miss a game his entire collegiate career.
Come out this Saturday Night for Military Night presented by Force Protection with Free Parking. The Stingrays face-off against the Florida Everblades at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum. All past and present military will receive a $9 ticket at the Coliseum box office with a valid military ID.
