Stingrays Send Rempel to Las Vegas for Future Considerations

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Spencer Carbery announced today that the team traded defenseman Brendan Rempel to the Las Vegas Wranglers in exchange for future considerations.

Rempel, 22, dressed in 16 games with the Stingrays this season earning no points, 13 penalty minutes and held a plus-minus rating of +7. Earlier this season, the Willington, Connecticut, native appeared in one contest with the Evansville IceMen picking up two penalty minutes.

The Stingrays return to action on Friday, January 31 against the Solar Bears on Ride CARTA Night and Family Four Pack Friday at 7:05 at the North Charleston Coliseum. Grab four tickets, four hotdogs, four sodas and large popcorn for $55 at the Coliseum Box Office. Enjoy $5 college and military tickets with proper ID at the Box Office. The first 1,000 fans receive Ride CARTA/Stingrays Chattersticks!
