Stingrays Host Inferno Tonight

N. CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays hosts the Columbia Inferno tonight at the North Charleston Coliseum for Pack the House Night! The game starts at 7:05 p.m. and can be heard live on the Real 1340am and at www.stingrayshockey.com beginning at 6:50 p.m. with the Benito's Pre-game Show.

This is the ninth meeting between the two teams with the Stingrays leading the series 6-2.

After last night's 5-0 loss in Charlotte, the Stingrays dropped to 20-15-3 on the year and in fifth place in the division. Captain Cail MacLean sets the pace for the team in both points with 38 and goals with 15. The Stingrays are looking for their sixth home win in a row; they have won the last five home games by an average of 3.8 goals

The Columbia Inferno defeated the Augusta Lynx 5-4 in a shootout last night to raise their record to 15-19-4. The team is currently in seventh place in the division. Jeff Miles leads the Inferno with 36 points (13g - 23a) and Mac Faulkner has the most goals with 14. The Inferno have a road record of 9-9-2 this season.
